AGE IS JUST A NUMBER

-

We do know generally, ladies shouldn't don't tell their ages. So we were not sure what the hue and cry about Edith Ogoke's age was, when people found out she is only 22 *cough. Ogoke represented Naija (unlike some other sellouts who represented countries we won't mention *wink)  in the Women's Middle (75kg) Boxing Quarterfinals on Day 10 of the London 2012 Olympic Games at ExCeL on August 6, 2012 in London. Nadezda Torlopova of Russia defeated Edith Ogoke. If you don't believe her, check out her ID card. Apart from that if you squint slightly you may start to believe it. Enough said.

It is an offence to walk and text

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85. Happy texting!
