......AND LONDON STOOD STILL AS LEKKI HOUSEWIVES (THE MOVIE) PREMIERED

It was the Lekki Housewives (The movie) premiere in London yesterday and movie lovers thronged out in their hundreds to the Lighthouse, Camberwell to witness this fantastic work. Yul Edochie, Victoria Inyama, Theodora Ibekwe, Tolu Yesufu, Toyin Moore and Toksy Bello were some of the stars who graced the premiere where Olamide, provided great music for the night.

It is always said that sex sells, but this movie was done with so much class and panache, a lot was implied but was not obnoxious or in your face. As it is the case with some movies being churned out in Nollywood at the moment, one can testify to the 'actors' only showing us all sorts of nudity but no real talents. The movie which stars Adaora Ukoh, Keira Hewatch, Kiki Omeira and Katherine Obiang is the story of 5 women, all married but 4 of them engaging in extramarital affairs. The fresh faces, the delivery and the movie itself is just in a league of it's own. In the Producer's own words 'it is real life re-enacted'. Beautiful and talented, Blessing Effiom-Egbe also doubles up as the Director and Writer wants us to watch out for Series 2 of the Lekki Housewives.
