ADIDAS UNDER FIRE FOR PROMOTING 'SHACKLED SLAVERY' TRAINERS

Okay like seriously?!  Sportswear giant Adidas have just made these new shackle trainers. There is a lot of hue and cry over the new footwear as they are deemed to be promoting slavery. Each to their own we say. If your thing is wearing shoes with leg cuffs without actually being an inmate at any prisons e.g Kirikiri, Alcatraz etc, then why not? According to the Daily Mail, over 2000 Facebook users have joined a group to label the shoes “offensive” and referred to Adidas as “ignorant”.

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85.
