Woman buried alive!

We sometimes think we've seen and heard it all. Then we hear and see stories like this and we are sure wonders shall never end. According to the P.M News (a Nigerian Newspaper), Utang Edet, who owned a church in Ikot Edem Odo in Cross River State, Nigeria, was buried alive after she was accused of offering five (5) of her family members for money making rituals. It is claimed that mysterious deaths regularly occurred in the family without anyone knowing the cause of death until another mysterious death early February this year.

P.M NEWS reports that family members concluded they had to do something "before premature death took everyone in the family away,” Ekanma Edet Offiong, a member of the family said. Offiong then went on to explain family members met up and discovered Utang was allegedly responsible for the re-occurring deaths in their family, "and more were lined up to die if she was not stopped.”

After requesting Utang meet the family members and she refused to show up,  one of the family members (Edet Edet Offiong, a twin brother of Joseph Edet Offiong who died recently) led some of his friends to her house one night, where they beat her up and took her into some bushes where they dug a grave and buried her alive!

Five people have been arrested in connection with Utang's murder. Talk of jungle justice.
