TIME shocking cover?

We all have our different takes on breast feeding. There is of course always different debates as per breast feeding being the best form of 'nutrient' for newborns. There's even more heated debate on when to stop breast feeding or if its civilised to breast feed in public, and all the usual yadda yadda. TIME Magazine has now gone a step further by discussing a term referred to as " Attachment Parenting". Its not so much the topic, but the cover picture of a mum breast feeding her 3year old son.

Jamie Lynne Grumet says she isn't shy about breastfeeding her almost 4-year-old son in public.


Jamie Grumet from Los Angeles who is the lady on the cover says, she isn’t ashamed that she still breastfeeds her 3-year-old son, who will turn four next month and will still continue to be breastfed. “I don’t consider breast-feeding immodest at all. I’m not shy about doing it in public.” Jamie also has a 5-year-old (adopted) son of a different race who she breastfeeds as well.

Some people have said its shocking, others think there is nothing absolutely wrong with it. What's your take?

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85.
