Girl stabs father of her kids dead for cheap mother's day gifts

Mother's day has come and gone again (well in some countries- for us its everyday) but this story you are about to read will linger in a lot of people's memory. A young texan woman, Paige Parkerson, 20 stabbed boyfriend and father of her two children  Clifton "JR" Barkin (22) to death. Her reason for stabbing him? Well Clifton's mother Evetta Wright, who drove her son to Walmart so he could purchase flowers and a Mother's Day card for Paige the day before mother's day, believes that her son's fiancée attacked him because she expected a more lavish gift!

An unnecessary loss of life- Clifton wrote on a social networking site before his death: ''Damn anotha boy to love an take care of man I love mi kidz''

 

Paige whose social networking site's favourite quotation is: "if looks could kill i would be da murder of all my haters" rang her fiance's mum after the gruesome murder and told her she killed her son. She was arrested and  is charged with first-degree felony murder. She is currently being held at Jefferson County Jail on $75,000 bond.

We say what a shame such a young couple. What matters most is that you had each other. There will be other mothers' day and more gifts.
