94 year old Woman attacked

This 94-year-old woman was savagely attacked in her own bed and is "struggling to understand" why she was targeted. Ms Winnall was found by her carer at 9am on Tuesday morning, however the attack could have happened at any point in the previous twelve hours. According to the reports nothing was taken from her home. Why anyone would do this is beyond us.

This could be anybody's grandmother. The attack left the frail pensioner with multiple injuries including a fractured skull, a broken arm and wrist and a partially severed finger. She has been sedated for much of her time in hospital, where she has had metal plates inserted into her arm. Anyone with information is asked to contact West Midlands Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85.
