Thief caught on Business Class on Arik Air!

You would think flying business class would give you such priviledges as making sure you are kept away from 'undesirable elements' or a thief at that. Apparently, there are different classes of thieves lol.

Picture this: An Afrik Air Flight to Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos, Nigeria from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital. A passenger got up mid-air and was checking the overhead cabins as though he was looking for something. He then reached into a gentleman's bag, took N200,000 and pocketed it. Unbeknown to him, a very observant passenger who was keenly watching his shenanigans, alerted cabin crew. Our 'expensive' thief was arrested and handed over to the police on landing. Talk of being a light traveller!

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85.
