We chatted with him recently about his latest effort "AISAN IFE" (LOVESICK), a Yoruba movie he shot on locations in Nigeria, USA and the UK starring his humble self, Daniel Ademinokan, the 2007 AMAA AWARD best indigenous Actress DORIS SIMONE, UK actress Mellisa Bull amongst others.
We asked him what the movie was about and the notions behind it:
And we do absolutely agree with you. AISAN IFE is a must watch!
"Well the Story is simply about a happy-go lucky Casanova who does not have any respect for African ladies but white babes. However, fate brought him together with a Naija babe when he chose to have a one off 'bite'. He later jilted the Naija babe , she relocated to Naija as a result only for Mr lover boy to realise he had fallen in love. He travelled down hoping for a re-union but was unfortunately late as she was set to marry another man who coincidentally happen to be Mr lover man's immediate elder brother . So the dramatic struggle that unfolds is the unique intrigue that could only be experienced but not told to some one ooooooh. What we re just preaching is that Naija should cherish their own not only in matters of the heart but in Naija made products too."
