2 Six year olds arrested, one handcuffed!

What is the world turning into you might say. Or how else do you explain a six year old boy being arrested for assault on his Head teacher (yes 6!). Staff rang the police with the complaint that the boy had kicked the school Principal, Patrick Lumbley and told him and Assistant Principal, Jessica Poe that he was going to kill them.

At another school (which is about 30miles away) in April, Police handcuffed a 6-year-old girl (6-year-old Salecia Johnson) who was screaming and crying and had injured a principal and damaged property at an elementary school in Milledgeville, Georgia. She was however not charged. She had been previously suspended from school for biting and hitting a staff member.

Not sure what to make of this. Its either a) The kids see so much violence they think its normal; b) The kids are only being kids of that age i.e throwing tantrums and teachers were too lazy to deal with it. Whatever the case, it's a bit outrageous to call the Police, why not the kids parents? Just saying.

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85.
