Youtube video helps convict a man's assault on a teenager

A father (Gary Johnson) who beat a 16-year-old boy in a YouTube video, smashing his face until his teeth broke through last year, is facing years in jail. The teen had earlier been involved in a fist fight with Johnson's son which he won, so the father stepped in to restore his son's glory apparently by fighting the little boy. His son can be seen to be pulling his father away from the teen, while the feckless adults look on. It was reported that Johnson was the one who set up the fight between the teenager and his son. What sort of father does that, beats us!
Gary Johnson of Palm Bay, Florida fainted moments after his verdict was read in court Friday, finding him guilty of battery, child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and disorderly conduct.
Johnson, 35, faces up to 57 years in prison though he's expected by prosecutors and his defense to see 10.

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85.
