Remember the story on the young journalist we did?  According to her colleague Mike Cerutti Osagie (the wordsmith), Laura Nduoyo is on her way to New Delhi, India for surgery for acute gastroenteritis resulting in chronic partial intestinal obstruction with terrible pains. We say a big thank you to all those who helped, keep it coming. We wish her the very best!

Amaka Oguchi (Miss Commonwealth) also paid Laura a visit few days ago and made a 5million Naira pledge to help Laura on her way to recovery.

    praying for her, i have a friend with breast cancer stage 3, on her way to India...........we also did some fundraising.apart from that they need to know we love them............good work Tope, MAY THE GOOD LORD bless you.

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85.
