Piracy is a worldwide problem that causes producers of movies and music a lot of grief. According to Channels Television, the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners, (ANTP) have taken their destinies in their hands by crying to the the Lagos State House of Assembly (Wednesday) concerning their plight. Jide Kosoko, Funke Akindele, Antar Laniyan, among other popular Yoruba actors, gathered to call for the complete shutting down of the popular Alaba International Market, Lagos, which according to them, is the breeding ground of piracy in the entertainment industry.

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85.
