Hiccups in the Boko Haram negotiations as mediator quits

Hmmmmm.. I really sincerely and truly (sorry for the tautology) don't know where to start from. Apparently, Ibrahim Datti Ahmed, the muslim cleric mediating in peace talks between the Nigerian government and the Boko Haram Islamist sect has announced he was quitting the talks, accusing the government of insincerity. He claims there has been leaks to the media in the details of the mediation by the government. The terrorist group claimed to be fighting for the creation of an Islamic state in northern Nigeria, but its aims and structure have since become less clear, while its attacks have grown increasingly deadly and sophisticated. Thousands of people has since lost their lives since this craziness began. Which way Africa? Hmmmmmm....

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85.
