Ghanaian Pastor arrested for Kidnapping

-

The founder of God’s Power Ministry in Ghana, Kwaku Awotwi, has been arrested by the Police for allegedly kidnapping a 25-year-old member of the church, Esi.

Esi, according to police, had been in the pastor’s room for almost four months. She took her bath and even attended to nature’s call in the room because she was not allowed out due to “spiritual reasons”. According to the pastor, Esi could not go out because the Holy Ghost had asked her not to do so until she was instructed to. He added that the day Esi stepped out would be the end of the world hence the need for mankind to change.

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85. Happy texting!
