Firemen in women's clothing save the day

-

We were astounded when we came across the video below on Youtube. Picture this: A car on fire in the middle of a motorway, the fire engine pulls up and voila men in women's ballroom clothing steps out and proceeds to fight the fire vigorously.

Do you laugh or would it be wrong to laugh seeing as there is an ongoing disaster? We couldn't stop laughing too. Apparently, the Minnesota town of Sedan has a very special St Patrick's Day parade, one that sees their firemen dress up as women, as it happens.

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85. Happy texting!
