It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. Happy texting!
