The London Fashion week has been and gone. The shows were a success as usual. Some of the pieces wearable and some bordering on the outrageous...lol. One thing we notice as is last year, is the infusion of African prints (Ankara textiles) into some of the international designs. Nigeria was ably represented as is usual. Enjoy some of the pictures taken at some of the fashion shows.

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85.
