Gringory dies @ 69!

James Iroha is dead! His son  Akwari James Iroha made this known on a social networking site. In his words:

"Sept 1942 - Feb 2012
Not long ago a man we have all come to love, a man that has made us laugh, a friend to all but will always be Dad to my little sister Ugonma, my brothers Chiemela, Uche, Kelechi and me passed on. Chief James Udensi Akwari Iroha OON has passed on today. May his cheerfull soul rest in the Lord."

We send our condolences to the family. Only recently Gringory as he was fondly called, was in the news, it was reported that he was living in abject poverty and cried out in vain for rehabilitation. May his soul rest in peace.
He was well known for his role in The new masquerade, a Nigerian serial comedy in the 70s and 80s.

There is a manhole in front of you lady! Well it is in a town in the US. We do love a good laugh you know. Some of the laws that are passed in a lot of countries are so funny, but some are just plain balmy. Though this makes a lot of sense but its still just funny. It is now an offence to walk while you are texting (or sexting as the case may be) in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for about a month now and already the local police department has issued 117 tickets at $85 per offence after 20 accidents were caused by distracted pedestrians texting and strolling across the road. So if you are ever in Fort Lee, New Jersey and caught walking on the sidewalk and texting (this includes tweeting, BBM and any other form of textings), you will be charged with 'Reckless walking' and a fine of $85. Happy texting!
